Why so many questions on McCain's position on abortion and not Obama's? A Parental-Involvement Opportunity-"There’s solid evidence that well-designed laws can protect mothers and their unborn children...Political candidates who support legal abortion have been changing their rhetoric in recent years. Indeed, during the current election cycle, a number of pro-choice candidates, including Barack Obama, have expressed an interest in lowering the incidence of abortion...Four studies in peer-reviewed academic journals use time-series, cross-sectional data to simultaneously analyze all the enacted pro-life parental-involvement laws over an extended period of time. These studies find that these pieces of legislation reduce the in-state minor abortion rate by anywhere from 13 to 19 percent....This study analyzed the Texas parental-notification law that took effect in 2000. Big media stupendously uncritical of Obama's Tax Cut plan

"ABC: McCain Would Help 'Wealthiest,' Obama to Cut Taxes for '95%'-""Cut taxes on most households (95%)." That 95 percent is impossible since one-third of those who file with the IRS are "non-payers," people who end up paying no tax or get money back which exceeds their payments. Obama plans to expand the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and create other credits. For those for whom the credits surpass their tax obligation, those are not tax cuts, but spending hikes or federal giveaways akin to welfare."

To McCain, CNN's Chetry Forwards Canard Obama Cuts Taxes for 90%-"Obama plans to cut the taxes for about 90 percent of Americans? That figure sounds remarkably similar to the 95 percent figure Fox News Channel host Brit Hume shot down on Sunday's Fox News Sunday program: "Obama goes around claiming he's going to cut the taxes of 95 percent of the public, which is literally impossible" since "40 percent of American taxpayers don't pay any income tax."

Smith Tells McCain Regulation Might've 'Helped Avert Crisis'-"As far as responsibility for the financial crisis, McCain had pointed out earlier in the interview: "Actually, a little -- two years ago, I warned that the oversight of Fannie and Freddie was, was terrible, that we were facing a crisis because of it, or certainly serious problems...But the influence that Fannie and Freddie had in the inside the beltway, old boy network, which led to this kind of corruption is unacceptable and I warned about it a couple of years ago." Also, an interesting note conerning Independent Joseph Lieberman comments concerning McCain and Obama as far as their ability to unite Dems and Reps and work in a by partisan way. The media plays off Obama as being that uniter of the parties when historically and comparing voter records McCain is far more in the middle than Obama on many more issues then Obama is. According to Independent Lieberman anyways.

Also, on the blog are reports of some evangelical and catholic leaders promoting a vote for Obama because of new stance on abortion at the Democrat National Convention Party Platform. As if this makes Obama pro-life in any sense of the normal understanding of what it means to be pro-life. If it is true that these religious leaders are saying what some claim they are saying then it is clear that these religious leaders are bearing false witness in the name of politics and at the expense of lives of millions of unborn (so you have another violation of the ten commandments being committed by these religious advisers). McCain on this issue, when people aren't confused on the subject by religious leaders of the above likes, wins hands down vs Obama (see Media's no emphasis of abortion as an issue hurting McCain and helping Obama/Obama on Fatherhood/The Physiology of Motherhood/Bush vs Clinton ). I have yet to give my vote to McCain as I am holding out to see who his VP will be but this issue is one of the main reasons why I am willing vote for McCain.

9 Religious Freedom victories!!!

Seven 1st Amendment court victories!!! And two victories for religious freedom handled out of court this past 2 weeks or so see Testimony of Obama Democrat Presidential Nominee for 1 court victory and one out of court victory and see Washington Post Demonizes Conservatives, guess what the media completely missed once again and seven 1st Amendment Supreme Court Victories!!! for the other seven court victories. Notice that one of these cases was vs. the ACLU of Ohio and check this out: "The ACLU charged that Judge DeWeese's display of the poster – which graphically compares and contrasts the Ten Commandments with Seven Humanist Principles – violated a 2002 injunction barring him from displaying a poster consisting solely of the Ten Commandments under the caption “Rule of Law.”...But U.S. District Court Judge Kathleen O'Malley, the same judge who issued the 2002 injunction, disagreed." So the same judge that issued the injunction was the judge ruling on this case and the ACLU lost and check what that judge said in her ruling that the ACLU suit was "misplace". Media Bias Bigger Problem then Campaign cash!!!???

What can be more concerning then campaign financing?-That which is the continual finding in poll after poll. Rasmussen: '55% Say Media Bias Bigger Problem than Campaign Cash'
55% Say Media Bias Bigger Problem Than Campaign Cash-Here is actual report on Rasmussen.com and note these comments: "Voters overwhelmingly believe that politicians will “break the rules to help people who give them a lot of money,” but most say there’s a bigger problem in politics today—media bias." Despite the fact that, "People believe media bias is a bigger problem even though 63% believe most politicians will break the rules to help campaign contributors. Just 14% believe most politicians would refrain from breaking the rules for a donor." And check this out: "Just 22% believe it would be a good idea to ban all campaign commercials so that voters could receive information on the campaign only from the news media and the internet. Sixty-six percent (66%) disagree and think that, despite the annoyance factor, it’s better to put up with an election-year barrage of advertising rather than rely on the news media." and lastly, "An earlier survey found that 49% believe most reporters are trying to help Barack Obama win the election this year. Just 14% believe they’re trying to help McCain. Another survey found that the news you watch says a lot about how you will vote." And guess who complained the most about media bias, "Not surprisingly, Republicans are the most likely to see media bias as the bigger problem. Eighty-one percent (81%) of the GOP faithful hold that view. Democrats and unaffiliated voters are more evenly divided. Obama’s Party, by a narrow 50% to 41% margin, say that campaign cash is the bigger issue. Among those not affiliated with either major party, 47% say media bias is the problem while 43% hold the opposite view. Fifty-three percent (53%) of liberals see campaign contributions as a bigger problem than media bias. Seventy-four percent (74%) of conservatives hold the opposite view. Among the moderates, 49% say media bias is the problem while 42% disagree." Very interesting findings. And the democrats want to make the media more bias by installing the Fairness Doctrine. FCC Commissioner: Return of Fairness Doctrine Could Control Web Content-Is it not interesting that though the American people continue to complain in poll after poll about media bias Nancy Pelosi is more concerned about talk radio. How about a Fairness Doctrine on NBC, ABC, PBS and CBS in issue selection!!!!!???? I believe the reason why internet, cable and talk radio do so well is because people feel they can get information on issues that is largely missing on the networks like the issues of religious freedom (plesae note above), marriage laws, academic freedom, abortion issues, and traditional family values. I know this to be true for me. All I notice on ABC, CBS, PBS and NBC is candy stories of documentaries that include christians but without the meat of issues like abortion, religious freedoms, and all the above etc etc. In other words on issues that effect voters the stories that would favour a conservative religious point of view are not aired but so long as the story is on an issue that has nothing to do with politics they will air it!!!! This in no way satisfies me when it comes to media bias in the context of political media bias!!!

APA Claims Abortion Doesn't Affect Mental Health of Women-"Life advocates say the needs of millions of women are not addressed in this report. After two years of study, a panel of the American Psychological Association (APA) concluded today that having one abortion does not cause significant mental-health problems for women. Priscilla Coleman, a researcher at Bowling Green State University, came to a different conclusion in her studies. She found that between 10 percent and 20 percent of women who have abortions experience prolonged mental-health problems. "We're not doing women any favors by hiding this," she told the Wall Street Journal. Carrie Gordon Earll, senior bioethics analyst at Focus on the Family Action, said the APA buried the real news. “The report basically admits that if you’ve had multiple abortions, your risk for mental-health problems may be greater," she said. ”If you've been pressured or coerced into an abortion, you may have an even more negative experience." Sixty percent of abortions are either repeat abortions or those in which the women are pressured to have one. "That’s millions of women whose needs and psychological problems are not represented in this report," Earll said. "The APA is spinning the results to their desired political conclusion, which is that they want to keep abortion legal and promoted in the culture.” The report also found that many of the more than 150 studies it reviewed had major flaws, and it called for better-designed studies. New Web Site Clearinghouse Features Info on Abortion's Risks, Complications-"An organization that is one of the leading research institutions on the physical, medical and mental health problems women face after abortion has launched a new web site to serve as a clearinghouse for post-abortion information. The Elliot Institute has launched AbortionRisks.org, to keep track of problems. The web site will not only provide a wealth of information on post-abortion complications, but will allow women who have experienced problems a chance to share those. AbortionRisks.org is a Web 2.0 site designed to allow anyone in the world to find or contribute information. What does premarital sex, pollution, birth and population control have to do with abortion?

New York City Has Extremely High Abortion Rate Despite Free Birth Control-"If there is any place in the nation women can get free or low-cost birth control, it's New York City. But a new report indicates the abortion rate in the nation's largest city is three times higher than the national average despite the easy access to birth control and contraception. While a survey from the Alan Guttmacher Institute, a part of Planned Parenthood, shows fewer than 20 percent of all pregnancies nationwide end in abortion, 72 pregnancies end in abortion in New York for every 100 births. More than 250 abortions are done every day in New York City at more than 200 locations, including abortion businesses and private doctor's offices. New figures reported in the Crain's business journal show 90,157 were done in New York in 2006 -- which the business journal admitted showed "women are using abortion as their birth control method of choice."...Amazingly, Deborah Kaplan, deputy commissioner of the city Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, told the business journal that the answer to the problem is more access to birth control. “To me, the problem is access," she said. “If we improved access to contraceptives, there would be a reduction in abortion." Meanwhile, the taxpayer-funding of abortions on both the state and city level is draining tax dollars that could be used for education, police or other services. Abortions cost the state of New York $16 million in Medicaid dollars every year and city taxpayers pay even more through the New York policy that provides free abortions to poor women at public facilities...The Crain's report also indicates that New York's high abortion numbers have changed in that they no longer show women from across the northeast going there for abortions. Now, 93 percent of the abortions done in New York City are on local residents."-See New York Health Department admits abstinece is best and condomns even if used "correctly and consistently" only "help reduce the chance of infection".

Forget Marriage: Adultery and Promiscuity Rule the Airwaves-"New study shows broadcast television promotes sex in every relationship except marriage....Prime time television is positively full of sex, as long as it is outside the context of marriage. That is the primary finding of a new report from the Parents Television Council (PTC). The report, “Happily Never After: How Hollywood Favors Adultery and Promiscuity over Marital Intimacy on Prime Time Broadcast Television” documents that when it comes to sex, broadcast networks are marginalizing marriage while glorifying non-marital intimacy. Further, behaviors that were once taboo-for-TV are now found all across the broadcast networks and often during the Family Hour, when more children are in the viewing audience. PTC analysts reviewed 207.5 hours of prime time broadcast programming on five networks during a four-week period in the fall of 2007. The analysis found that verbal references to non-marital sex outnumbered references to sex in the context of marriage by nearly 3 to 1, and scenes depicting or implying sex between non-married partners outnumbered similar scenes between married couples by a ratio of nearly 4 to 1....There are many disturbing findings in the report, but two that stand out are:

· The Family Hour (8:00 – 9:00 p.m. at which time more children are in the viewing audience) contained the highest frequency of references to non-married sex. Family Hour references to non-marital sex outnumbered references to sex in marriage by a ratio of 3.9 to 1. During the 9:00 pm and 10:00 pm hours, the references to non-marital versus marital sex averaged 2.5 to 1.

· Most programs either lacked or had inadequate content descriptors, which are intended to alert parents to inappropriate content and work in conjunction with the V-Chip to block content that parents may find unsuitable for their children. For example, on ABC, 38 percent of programs airing during the Family Hour that contained sexual content did not receive the “S” descriptor and during the 9:00 pm hour, 71 percent of programs containing sexual dialogue did not carry a “D” descriptor. Every network had problems with the consistent application of “S” and/or “D” descriptors during every time slot.

· There is a positive correlation between early sexual activity and depression and attempted suicide."-Media like this can only help increase the rise in teen pregnancy and thus the rise in abortions. Unbiblical values have civil and social consequences. Ask yourself does this kind of media help reduce or increase abortion rates? If it does help to increase even by not helping to decrease abortion rates then are we not as a viewing audience somewhat responsible for the women and babies hurt by such ungodly media when we support it!!! God help us all on the day of judgment. I see know way of getting around our own disobedience to God. If Jesus said that to look with lust after a women is adultery in the heart then why are we supporting such sinfulness on our TV and DVD players. Jesus has good reason why we should not do what He doesn't want us to do. If population is indeed a problem may it be that the root of the problem is disobedience to Christ and never add sin to sin by population control methods like abortion. If we want less pollution in the air and less pollution in our waters and less this or that that some believe is a consequence of to many humans in the world then should we not control the population in a Godly humane and civil sort of way. We must repent at this most basic level to save our own souls and the physical lives of millions more. Sinful sexual appetites will only produce more sinful sexual appetites which will only lead to more of what we have today in the world. Why don't we instead of inforcing a right for a woman to end a human life on that unborn life instead inforce a more civil and humane law like forbidding premarital sex and thus discourage and frown upon a hollywood that encourages such behavior which in turn encourages over population and mass murdering of unborn children!!! This may sound radical but at least one of the two laws has a civil morale to it and may actually do society a whole lot of good in a more self-controlled humane and civil sort of way!!!!

I did want to say that I am as guilty as anyone else on this issue so I am not coming to anybody without some fingers pointing back at me that is one of the many reasons why I am trusting Christ to save me on the day of judgment. I don't want to be found without His cleansing sacrifice of love on the cross for me before God. There are probabily ample more consequences to my sins then I have yet to discover and all at root because of my unwillingness to have a little faith and take God at His Word and act accordingly.-God says in His Word, "...a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him."-Matthew 17:5. May we all hear Him with a little more faith!!!

NBC Drops the Ball on Teen Sex-"The followup special for The Baby Borrowers fails to tackle tough subjects in discussions of teen sexuality and pregnancy....NBC first dropped the ball in a discussion of abstinence. She then failed to allow the one couple, Sasha and Jordan, who insisted they were abstinent, to explain how they came to the decision to refrain from sex. The general take-away was that abstinence is not feasible for teenagers."

Also, I noticed on http://www.valuesvoternews.com/ that the page on my site called Obama and the Born Alive Infant Protection Act? has been the most accessed page and the most time spent on from people just doing a search on google or elsewhere on that subject (not from google or yahoo advertising or my emails). I got 8 hits in less then 24 hours on 06/26/2008 to the 27th and this is even after the fact that my web site has only been out there with less then a month at a time. Now I have yet to get any further inquires into that page but I moved it up to July to see if it makes any difference. But this was not my first page on the blog either at the time. So this issue of specifically the Born Alive Infant Protection Act may be of some controvesy along with other abortion concerns about Obama.

Obama would have us as most all democrats pay for abortion here and overseas. Secondly, it is negative as it should be. Thirdly, it is a partial birth abortion really the result of an unwanted pregnancy in the sense that he is speaking due to sexual promiscuity (see below).

Obama's Abortion Kerfuffle-"My only point is that in an area like partial-birth abortion having a mental, having a health exception can be defined rigorously. Oh yes the compassion of Obama and women during a PARTIAL BIRTH ABORTION which is banned by the Supreme Court of the US and all other countries in this world!!! Are we not forever and always forgetting about the compassion that is forever and always missing toward the unborn human beings in these discussions???? There is no way Obama will get my faith based vote. No way. Unless he changes his view on this subject and others and make it public before all without dispute. I have actually prayed for that!!! Who knows!!!! He also says "historically I have been a strong believer in a women's right to choose with her doctor, her pastor and her family". Again how family of Obama!!! What advice to her daughters would Obama give in supporting his own daughters right to choose if "they make a mistake" that results in a pregnancy if we only took a speech he made some time ago into consideration.

Would he advise a) not to have an abortion thus reducing one abortion, b) to have the abortion if she chooses so because after all he is "a stong believer in a women's right to choose with her doctor, her pastor and" himself or c) MIT Pro-Life students vs Obamas' "moral" concern for his once unborn daughters and hearty empathetic Judges (scroll down to 2nd video). If the video doesn't work cause the last I checked it doesn't then just you tube "punished with a baby". Now I hope that Obama wouldn't give that advice or give such a view of the situation to his daughters. In one sense it is a consequence of a sexually promiscous action but never at the expense of that unborn babies life (TALK ABOUT AN UNJUST PUNISHMENT!!! What did he or she ever do???). If one concieve of a baby as a punishment for bad actions an individual makes how much more should that same one understand the punishment of the innocent, period. Let us turn the tables, flip the coin, butter the otherside of the pancake and throw syrup all over it and respond to Obama and throw the comments that he threw at the unborn child right back at him and say if "they make a mistake I don't want the innocent unborn child punished either"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What did he/she ever do? Talk about social uncompassionate injustice to its lowest stooping degree to the most innocent/voiceless/poorest/helpless members of all in our societies and yet today we violated their most basic right of all rights the RIGHT TO LIFE. And then to hear Obama speak as he does attempting to belittle the concerns of those for the unborn by claiming he wants to only reduce abortions with no talk about the unborn at all, to some of us it makes us not fee so well (PC for sick)....But I will still pray for him no matter what!!!

They need to get their fussing priorities straight and then I'll listen, until then I am turned off/disgusted/and appalled that these issues have not been brought to my attention!!! That I could have actually voted for a political leader that supported this junk without me ever knowing. Thank the Lord for conservative media outlets no matter how biased the liberal media may claim them to be. So what. Its obvious to me that neither are they!!! All are biased and it just boils down to which bias is the right bias to be biased by. Conservative media outlets in my opinion have a right prioritized bias. They may be concerned about things that liberal media outlets are concerned about but just not at the sacrifice of moral concerns like LIFE!!! And when you think about it from most conservative perspectives that what morality is (a reflection of the character of God) then this becomes a big issue for the character of God Himself is being undermined!!! So to prioritize morality above other issues is not a bad place to start and then to build upon and justifiably so.

Anyways, here you have it our hard earned tax money at work against many a conscience. Where are the governmental regulatory advocates!!! Where is the media concern for humane rights!!! If we are going to regulate climate and business and faith based programs and health care and....then to be consistent we need to regulate!!!! If we are going to air stories claiming how manipulative big business' with millions of dollars taking advantage of consumers and environmentally unsafe then where is the air for those claiming to be hurt by this 900 million dollar (arguably unsafe by its nature and beginnings) business including both child and mother!!! We are all hypocritical and inconsistent but so is this!!!

You can tell I am frustrated and so I did respond to alot of my frustration below for positivity/faith/hope sake. Sorry for how long this email is but I am a nut!!!! I hope you all have a great week.

I thank God that He is ultimately in control and not man. I think God sometimes Providentially displays this heinousness in history not to the intent to show us that He is not in charge but rather to show us what would happen if He were not in charge. It kind of makes me want to 1) not be happy about Godlessness 2) want to do something about it 3) and also review myself to see if there be any evil in me for hypocrisy is just as ugly 4) and when I do I thank God that He is merciful to me when I have strayed from His path so 5) I must be merciful to others the same way He has been merciful to me and also to win others to His way the same way He won me by revealing the sin in my life and and His forgiveness and mercy for it at the Cross. And no sin is greater then any other when it comes to what Christ will and will not forgive for He is all powerful even to forgive the worst of sins. If God the Father can forgive men who took His Son and spit at Him, whipped Him, stuck a mocking crown of thorns on His head, verbally mocked Him, and killed Him then He can surely forgive anyone committing any sin whatsoever who comes to Himself thru that most obedient and PERFECT Son of His that He sent into the world to display for all the greatest display of love that no man before and after has ever seen from any claimed God anywhere. Showing how He can allow evil in the world (the greatest evil being the treatment of His own Son) and thru that evil destroy evil in time. In part the Cross is a message of evil being destroyed by the very acts of evil. The fact remains that there is evil but on top of that fact there has only been One who has dealt with it in the most brilliant and loving manner (becoming one of us and partaking in it thus empathizing with us showing Himself to understand the suffering and willing to take it on Himself for our sake) lending great evidence that He alone is the one true Creator of all. And also that all wrongs will be made right so much so that it will be as if they never even were in the first place, something that only an omnipotent, all loving, and all just God could do, as opposed to us impotent, sometimes loving, and not at all that just people could dream of possibly winking at. And that message was prophesied in the Old Testament and Fulfilled in the New Testament and all others thereafter are but additions/plegarizers/copycats of The Original.

It alls boils down to faith and are we willing to trust that God is able. If God is God it logically follows that He is able and so it logically follows that the only position to hold is that of faith and to wait and see how in the end God makes all things right as we live our lives to His end!!! "The Just shall live by Faith" And let us ask God to make us right also, by trusting in His solution to our sins/evils, Christ crucified on the cross/risen from the dead/ and in heaven now paving the way that someday so will we by faith in His way and what a magnificent, uncomparable and unparalelled way it is. "I am the way...."-Jesus.

If God were to ever make Himself out to be different and above all other claimed gods and everything else He created (which would make sense that if He really were God and existed we should be able to recognize Him from what He is not and our surroundings in creation and other claims of who He is, if He wanted to be known in anyway to have a relationship with us and also that He would be able to do this) then He has done quite a job in His Son separating Himself out from everything else in this world and making Himself known as Creator so that we can have that relationship with Him and have a happy ending of this life into the life to come that this life pales in light of eternity!!!!

Now this all assumes that what God has revealed thru Jesus thru His disciples in the gospels thus relating back to the Old and New Testament passed down to now is indeed what God has decided to reveal and has Providentially preserved in tact.

As for me and my household we have no reason to not assume it and many reasons for assuming it. And even if a reason of doubt is proposed I am sure that God can answer that one too as He has answered many before in my life and for those that remain unanswered I'd rather assume the position of FAITH as opposed to doubt for if God is God it is logical to assume that there is an answer as opposed to not. The ONLY LOGICAL REASON why I would assume otherwise would be if God weren't God. But that is the very point in question by doubters. So are doubters full of as much faith as I am?????? And are they not reasoning secretly from a position of doubt in a circular way as much as I am. The differemce between a doubter and a believer at this point is that the believer is justified in reasoning circular for all that is saying for him is that God is ultimate in authority thus we can't reason beyond God. For to reason beyond God would be to reason as though God is not God. So it makes good sense why a believer is reasoning cicularly cause there is no authority greater then God to ultimately verify ones belief in God. God to be God is the verifyer Himself!!!! However, a doubter has no justification for his/her position of circular doubt. He/she is forever in circles upon circles upon infinite number of circles without an ultimate authority!!!! Or rather without God!!! Thus the circle of faith is justified standing on faith as opposed to the position of doubt standing on further doubt and further until finally a position leap is taken into faith!!!!

I know. Blah blah blah blah. I am a nut case but I don't care. The only reason I brought all that up was that even though things can be crazy and that our tax payer money is going to support Planned Parenthood which I would never support myself in all good conscious that God is God and there is hope as long as there is He, in answering all the questions that these heinous things conjure up in our minds and that God is amazingly merciful and at the same time will right every wrong so much so that it will be as if it never even were in the place and He is perfectly able and capable to do so. To assume other wise is to assume no God at all and then we truely are left with no righting of the wrongs and of course I suppose if there is no God there would be no basis for right or wrong to worry about anyways we'd all be amoral products of blind chance mutations over billions of years of death, disease and struggle with no rhyme or reason life being a product of none life and so then I suppose all that is happening now is what has been happening for millions of years and so there is nothing to fret about. Not even the worst case scenarios. We are but evolving into whatever we evolve into there is no right or wrong no heaven or hell no rhyme nor reason and lastly you loose the ability to right all these things we consciously know to be wrong that happen in our world in we commit ourselves. So for the one who wishes not to right himself, the world without God looks inviting but then don't complain about wrongs in the world for you have chosen that they will never be justified unless of course you are trusting in a highly evolved human race never known before to man to evolve into perfection some how. But this boils down to pure faith once again. And we won't go there again today.
