Quick Comments about some polls and articles over the weekend

First, President Obama's overall approval rating is at 47% which ties his worst ever performance and 52% disapprove but what is more telling is 41% strongly disapprove which is Obama's worst strong disapproval rating yet while only 32% strongly approve. Below is a poll on ObamaCare that 44% strongly disapprove and over all disapproval is 53%. There is currently some talk about possibly taking out the public option over the weekend see New York Times article titled ‘Public Option’ in Health Plan May Be Dropped . But for now it is just talk who knows really which way it will go.

Gallup and Pew Research just released public opinion polls on health care town hall protests. GOP has first time lead over democrats on health care.

Not only does divorces hurt children and drive up costs of welfare but now divorce drives up costs of healthcare

God's way is THE WAY. See more on how much God's way saves our society at label Faith and Family Philanthropy which is a continually growing resource that evidences forth the necessity of a government to support faith and family and any government's policy that attacks that God ordained institution does so at its own and society's own peril. I just read this great quote out of The Christian Life and Character of the Civil Institutions of the United States which is a must read. Basically a book of 1000 pages of our documents of our founding forefathers from 1600's till 1870 or so which is the year this book was written in. Let me quote a quote from it:

"The family...is God's first institution. It was founded in Eden, and will last to the end of time. All other institutions come after it, cluster round it, grow out of it, and have the deepest roots both of their strength and weakness in it.....All other institutions of society are to be formed and reformed, generated and regenerated, only through the family itself."

The Governor of New York in 1794 proclaimed as one of his first acts as Governor a proclamation which concluded with these words which is attested to by ample public documents of our founding forefathers again and again and again. This is indeed a common theme of our forefathers:

"...bless our nation, and all other nations, in the manner and measure most conducive to our and their best interests and real welfare; being perfectly convinced that national prosperity depends, and out to depend, on national gratitude and obedience to the Supreme Ruler of the Universe." And earlier in this same proclamation John Jay said of God that "...he hath graciously been pleased to show singular kindness to the people and nation of which this State is a constituent member....by blessing them...with the civilizing light and influence of his holy gospel..."
