The largest vote total in the Radio Hall of Fame history is produced by Focus on the Family and Dr Dobson!!!-"Dr. James Dobson and his "Focus on the Family" radio broadcast officially will be inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame on Saturday. Gay activists are planning to protest the Chicago event....For the first time, voting was opened to the public. According to the Hall of Fame, more than 50,000 people voted for "Focus on the Family" — the largest vote total in the group's history."
Same Sex Marriage
Men in women's restrooms again. Voters overturn Michigan ordinance.-"Voters in the town of Hamtramck, Michigan have overturned an ordinance which would have given legal protections to homosexual behavior, expression and attire. The regulations could also have forced businesses to permit men who perceive themselves as women to use women’s restrooms. Any attempts to prevent such activity, according to the Thomas More Law Center, would have subjected violators to investigations, criminal prosecution, civil litigation, and fines of up to five hundred dollars a day. The proposal, labeled as a “human rights” ordinance, was defeated 2,903 votes to 2,333."

Teachers and citizens in California moving to different teacher's union and utility company. Why?-"According to the attorney, more than 5,000 people -- many of them teachers who are disenchanted with CTA's political donation -- have cancelled service with PG&E and are now obtaining service from companies that generally charge less as well as support family values..." Included in this blog are just a couple of more reasons why people of faith are concerned that their local Teachers Association and Public Utility company sent almost 1 million and half dollars combined to support Same Sex Marriage.

Also, Obama ran a campaign on supposed corrupting influences of Wall Street: "A day after being elected president and acknowledging "the worst financial crisis in a century," Barack Obama asked one of the biggest recipients of Wall Street campaign contributions to be his chief of staff. Rep. Rahm Emanuel, the Illinois congressman who was an aide in the Clinton White House, was the top House recipient in the 2008 election cycle of contributions from hedge funds, private equity firms and the larger securities/investment industry--not the most popular of industries in the current economy."-I am sure he has an explanation but it shouldn't go without one. Will Big Media report this and allow for an explanation!!!
Worst post-election day in at least 28 years for the Dow-"The Dow Jones industrials sank 486 points"
How did the Dow Jones fair the second day after Obama election?-"Dow Jones Industrial Average shed 443.48 points"-However, it did bounce back about 250 points on Friday. I doubt Obama is going to be able to tax the rich right away. We need them to wisely invest and create jobs. How about incentives for wisely investing and creating jobs not tax penalties for doing so?
When Bush Tax cuts expire watch out cause then it goes back to the days of Clinton which if you remember we were in a recession when Bush took over in 2001. I don't know if this has anything to do with a recovery of the economy but think about it, if millions/billions are being invested into the economy which is investing in companies that are creating jobs then when Bush's tax cuts expire I can't help but to think this will have a bad effect on the economy cause those millions/billions are going to be taxed and hit hard thus not able to be invested into the economy thus no new job creation.
I could be wrong we will see and see what Obama does about it. Bush's answer to the recession when he began office was tax cuts so that money can flow back into the economy and it worked. We had record highs in the Dow Jones under Bush and was balancing the budget even despite the money spent on the war in Iraq as of 08/2007 until the mortgage crisis hit. Now the mortgage crisis hits and here we are with another possible recession handed over to a new presidency and lets see what Obama does. It's not going to be easy either way, let's pray for wisdom for him. I don't see how "trickle up" economics is going to work without some money "trickling down" to trickel up with.

Teacher of the Year barred from "Celebration of Excellence" but continues to boycott NEA anyways!!! -"Ekre, who has been a teacher for 16 years, said she joined the association when she began teaching but dropped out because she regards the NDEA’s parent organization, the National Education Association, as too politically liberal. NDEA members automatically are members of the NEA and provide support to the national organization.“This is one of many actions the NEA and its affiliates have taken that clearly demonstrate the well-being of teachers and students is not its first priority,” said Candi Cushman, education analyst for Focus on the Family Action. “The NEA affiliate in California recently donated more than $1 million in an unsuccessful effort to defeat a measure protecting traditional marriage.“But the good news is there are more and more high-quality, courageous teachers like Ms. Ekre who are rising up and refusing to let their dollars support agendas they don’t support.”

Excellent points made especially the point that one of the democrats made on how exactly is the government going to be fair in regulating the content of all the media and to narrow out just radio and not any others is somewhat opposite of the "Fairness Doctrine".
